Artist, Designer, and Web Community Hostess, Sheila Cameron gets rave reviews from art lovers and media critics alike. After success as a producer and media executive for companies like MTV, HBO and Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s LivePlanet, she went on to start a family and focus on a career in the arts. It is this diverse background that gives her a unique perspective on pop culture and inspires her work.

Sheila’s background as an artist and writer came into play when she created FreeKatie.net, which she forwarded to a few friends. “I was just hoping to cover the costs of the site by maybe selling 100 shirts,” Sheila explains, “I was only weeks away from delivering my first child.”

After a few blogs picked up on what she was doing, the shirts were featured in Spanish Vogue, "Newsweek", "Star 2005" and "Star 2006",on "Access Hollywood", "Los Angeles Times", "E!" and Vh1. Sheila did interviews all over the world including “A Current Affair” "Los Angeles Magazine", "Glamour Magazine" "ABC News Now", "People" and radio shows across the U.S. Australia, England, Finland, and Los Angeles' World Famous KROQ (Listen Now Quicktime).

She quickly followed up with Fitzie is My Homeboy designs and Vanity Fair took notice in their February 06 issue.

With over a million unique visitors from around the world, guests can sound off 24 hours a day and check out new art and designs.

New t-shirt designs are launched as inspiration strikes. She also continues to sell her original work to collectors from all over the country through Ebay, retail stores, art festivals and her studio in West Hollywood. She displays her work at trendy shops on Melrose Ave., local art shows, Los Angeles office space and in the homes of some of Hollywood's brightest talent.

Sheila earned a degree in Fine Art and Creative Writing from Loyola College in Maryland and currently lives in West Hollywood with her husband, Greg, daughter, Layla and naughty yorkie, Dan.
